AAIR Outstanding Research Scholar Award

The AAIR Outstanding Research Scholar Award is instituted to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contribution to research, academic inquiry, and knowledge development across disciplines.

This award reflects AAIR’s commitment to promoting meaningful research and acknowledging individuals who contribute significantly to the research ecosystem.

The award is not open for direct application. Candidates are identified and nominated based on their work, contribution, and engagement within the research community.

The selection process shall be conducted in a structured and transparent manner. The Secretary, in coordination with the Joint Secretary and Treasurer, shall frame the rules, eligibility criteria, and evaluation process for the award

The final selection and process oversight may be administered through an appropriate mechanism under the authority of AAIR, including coordination with the Central Election Office where required, to ensure fairness and institutional integrity.

The award shall be conferred upon selected members of AAIR in recognition of their outstanding research contributions.

Note

AAIR follows a focused recognition approach and does not maintain multiple award categories. This ensures that the award remains selective, credible, and prestigious.

This award cannot be purchased, and no monetary consideration is accepted or required at any stage of the nomination or selection process.

AAIR maintains a strictly merit-based and transparent recognition system; therefore, individuals are advised not to contact the association for requesting, influencing, or soliciting the award.
